A Night In To Recharge…

As we’re rounding out the winter months we’re naturally starting to crave those warm summer rays and glowing skin…however as the crisp air has soaked up all moisture in my skin and I’ve forgotten what a razor even looks like it’s time to spend a night in to repair and recharge. So pull out the wine and your fave movies and get ready to have a pamper night in…

The Calming Honey Mask

Cinnamon is blessing when it comes to reducing inflammation and that dreaded redness whilst soaking up excess oil. The acidity from lemons will help to gently exfoliate your skin and will also help minimise the appearance of dark spots.

  • 2 tablespoons of pure honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 wedge of fresh lemon

Warm the honey in the microwave for a few seconds, then combine it with the cinnamon and the juice of a lemon wedge into a small bowl. Gently massage the magic mixture onto your face and leave on for about 15-20 minutes, then rinse off and voila your skin will be looking fresh AF.

Exfoliating Brown Sugar Scrub Mask

Brown sugar scrubs off all that dead winter skin while coconut oil packs it with moisture. With the two combined together you’ll be left with nothing but babies butt soft and glowing skin.

  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil

Use equal parts brown sugar and coconut oil to form a scrub consistency, apply it on your face in gentle circular motions, let all that magic sink in for a few minutes and wash it off with warm water.

Spot fighting Milk Mask

For those spot prone girls like myself this ones for you. Honey is a natural bacteria killer and helps to to prevent future breakouts whist nutmeg acts as a gentle exfoliator that’s great for sensitive skin. Milk will soothe any redness or irritation.

  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons of milk

Mix your desired amount of each ingredient in a small bowl and let it sink in for 10-15 minutes before rinsing and then follow up with your favorite moisturiser. You’ll wake up super fresh and spot free.
