Sweet Like Strawberry & Apple Crumble Baby

Let’s face it, we all like to indulge. We’d do it more often if we didn’t have to deal with the consequences (endless hours of sweat blood and tears at the gym each week), especially with Summer on the horizon! But not to worry gurrrl, once again we’ve got your back with a delicious guilt-free treat that you won’t be thinking twice about going back for seconds. Read ahead and try not to drool…

Serves 6
Cooking time: 30 minutes
3/4 Cup Wholemeal Flour
1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Coconut Sugar Or Honey
2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
2 Tbs Sesame Seeds
800g Green Apples
250g Strawberries, Hulled And Halved
Coconut oil

1. Preheat oven to 200°C fan-forced. Lightly grease 1.5 litre (6 cup capacity) ovenproof dish with cooking spray.
2. Combine the flour, baking powder, coconut sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Drop heaped teaspoons of the spread into the flour mixture and using your fingertips, rub the spread into the flour until it starts to come together. Add the oats and sesame seeds and continue rubbing together until well combined.
3. Slice up the apples and pop them into the dish. Add strawberries and gently stir to distribute. Sprinkle crumble mixture over the fruit to cover and bake for 30 minutes or until crumble is golden. Serve warm with a dollop of yoghurt.
